A porcelain figure
Stuck on the pendulum
Of a museum.
Eyes watching
Daring her to tip
Crack
And break.
Shaking,
Ready to slip.
Tick, Tick.

A place for me to capture my imagination with words
A porcelain figure
Stuck on the pendulum
Of a museum.
Eyes watching
Daring her to tip
Crack
And break.
Shaking,
Ready to slip.
Tick, Tick.

The deeper meaning behind this post is super thought provoking…

Thank you. I wanted to share what it feels like to be vulnerable when everyone’s watching in the simplest way. I’m so happy that you looked at it’s meaning rather than just the words.

Remember my sister having an RTA. Someone drove into the back of her. Wrote of an excellent condition Cortina. Strange feeling standing at the side of the road. The rubberneckers twisting to see if they can see an injured person. Reminds of that, how vulnerable she looked and felt at the side o the road. Rubbernecks waiting for her to tip.

Oh my god. Thats so scary yet sad. I mainly based it on my mom’s tension and sensitivity, but I’m glad you could relate even if it was a sad connection. I’m so glad you liked it!

And I’m sorry about your sister. Is she better? Did she feel the same way too?
