Once upon a time, there was a princess. Her name was Lilly. She had long curly, brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. She was ten years old. Everyone liked her, but the princess was not happy. She didn’t want to show off her powers as a princess. The truth was, Lilly had superpowers. She didn’t want anyone to know about them. Ever since she was born, Lilly felt different. She could hear things no one else could. She also had pets and could talk to them. Her dog and rabbit also had superpowers like her. One thing she loved to do was fly and they could fly too. Lilly was very strong and so were her pets. They could break walls, kick down doors, and punch through metal. The king and queen tried very hard to hide her powers in many different ways, some of them worked. They had special dresses made for her with heavy cloth, iron sheets and fly-proof shoes. Lilly loved her outfits. Her favourite one was purple and it reminded her of Rapunzel and Sofia. She also loved blue like Cinderella.

One day, somebody saw Lilly using her powers. That somebody was Prince Adam. He’d never seen anyone fly and when he saw the Princess, he was shocked. He was gobsmacked. Prince Adam went to Princess Lilly and said, “ Hi your powers are really cool. Do you want to be friends?” “Yes,” she said. Then, he asked for the impossible. “Can you give me your powers? “ Lilly couldn’t. She’d never given anyone her powers. She didn’t think she could. “No, I don’t know how to,” she told him.
“Okay, that’s fine. Let’s go out for a candlelit dinner.”
“Sure.” The prince seemed like a nice person.
“Great, I will see you at 7:30 pm.”
Lilly was happy. She finally found a friend who knew her secret. Would her parents be angry?

Overview: I wrote this with my cousin. Turns out, I invented this writing game thats super easy to play and just needs a pen and paper. Basically, the one person writes a sentence and the next person writes the next one and they keep going back and forth writing one sentence after the other and then, Voila! You have a story! It’s a lot of fun to play and we played it together and ended up writing this.  I know it’s not the usual but she’s young an d creative and as you read, you’ll be able to see the difference in my sentences and hers. I hope you liked it!
